A dhurrie-rug is a flatweave carpet, handmade from 100% cotton in villages of Punjab, Pakistan. The thread has been hand-dyed several times to ensure colorfastness and durability. the whole process is virtually unchanged through the last thousand years. Weaving is an authentic handicraft that must be mastered and continue.
