Chandni khes are now updated and altered with innovative designs, new materials are used in the process of weaving. Traditionally they are poetically named for instance Chandni Gulbahar or the moonlit rose red, Laila-majnoo named after the doomed lovers, and Gol chakkar – the squared circle.
